various and assorted miscellany
...Intermezzo is a musical term that I learned years ago.
ReplyDeleteIt's well-used here.
DeleteI loved this movie. I think the first time I saw it I was still in high school. It still holds.
ReplyDeleteThe classics never get old.
DeleteI like Ingrid Bergman. And Lesley Howard. I haven't seen this one though, or at least I don't remember seeing it. Did you get any snow as they predicted?
ReplyDeleteThis one's definitely worth seeing.
DeleteIt has started raining (10:15 am) and snow is still predicted to move in around midnight. It's 48 degrees right now, and even though the temperature is dropping I can't see it sticking on roadways. If it does snow at all it could ice over and be hazardous on roads tomorrow morning. Some churches have already cancelled their morning services. To be honest, I'll be surprised it we get as much as an inch.
Another classic film I would like to see again! Amazing how some films endure and some become unwatchable.

Ain't that the truth! Some become classics and others become embarrassing.
DeleteA classic :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
A beautiful film.
DeleteI love drama (on film), but I'm not one who cares for romance. It just takes away from a good dramatic plot.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind romance if it's part of the drama plot. I don't tend to like romcoms, but there are exceptions to all of my "I don't like" opinions. I love Don Juan de Marco, for example.
