The Hitcher is a 1986 horror movie starring Rutger Hauer. Rutger Hauer is always worth watching, but he plays a serial killer in this so be warned.

Oooh, I like Rutger Hauer.
ReplyDeleteYes, he's worth looking for :)
DeleteI usually like movies he is in. But I can't recall if I saw this one or not.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen it before, but I came to horror films late.
Delete...I’ll pass.
ReplyDeletePassing hitchhikers is the better plan ;)
DeleteYes this is a great one. I love Rutger Hauer.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he a treat?!
DeleteI've not seen this but I agree with you, 'Rutger Hauer is always worth watching.'
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
There seems to be general agreement on that.
DeleteI thought I had seen this one, but now I don't think it's what I remember after watching the first few minutes. I'm off to see the rest of it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it :)
DeleteWhy don't I know who Rutger Hauer is? I really need to become more cinema literate I think. Happy new week!
ReplyDeleteHe's a niche attraction, I think.
DeleteWe were nice hitchhikers. But once the driver wasn´t nice. Well, as in... drunk. And we realized too late, was scary, too.
ReplyDeleteI never hitchhiked or picked one up. That does sound scary!
DeleteThis sounds good, another one on my list for the dark evenings! Have a great week, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it :)
DeleteThumbs down on serial killer movies for me!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's not everybody's cuppa tea.
