Tumbleweed is a 1953 western film starring Audie Murphy and Lee Van Cleef. Chill Wills, Russell Johnson, and Lyle Talbot are also in this. Lee Van Cleef is a long-time favorite with us. You just can't go wrong with him.
I'm not familiar with this film but I have to laugh at the title as when we were in New Mexico a tumble weed rolled out into the road and into our car. It didn't do any damage and was a good laugh. Happy weekend. hugs-Erika
Well, this is a traditional 50s-era western, so it won't surprise you. Some westerns are different enough that non-fans would like them, but this isn't one of those ;)
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
A good one
ReplyDeleteAnything with Lee Van Cleef!
Delete...now I have the song playing in my head.

ReplyDeleteI had not heard of this before, but I'm always on the look-out for a Lee Van Cleef movie :) I've never seen a tumbleweed in real life.
DeleteMight be good but no Westerns for me! Valerie
