Right now I'm reading one of the Dr. Siri Paiboun series by Colin Cotterill: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_Cotterill#Dr._Siri_Paiboun_series . I started with the first one, just to try something different, and am now on #4. The doctor is a retired physician pulled in to serve as state coroner for the Lao People's Democratic Republic in the mid-'70s. It's a fascinating look at the culture and politics of the times.
Except for grocery trips I'm staying in :) Memphis went from 4 cases to 10 overnight because results have started coming in, and the mayor declared a civil emergency due to community transmission and closed down the restaurants and bars. Me and mine are fine so far, and we don't know anybody who's sick but I expect that'll change as this thing spreads :(
There's just something about zombies that are specifically nazis or pirates or something lol But I'm not watching horror at all right now. Not feelin' it for the moment.
I'm set for books and movies :) I'm seeing lists of pandemic-type films to watch on Twitter, and I'm just not wanting those right now for some reason lol
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
Read any good mysteries lately? I am looking for some suggestions.

DeleteI hope all is well with you and yours.
I think there's enough horror going on IRL so I'd rather watch something fun and mindless.
