Sandcastles is a 1972 made-for-tv supernatural romance movie. Not my thing -that's what you're thinking- and you'd be right. But this film stars Jan Michael Vincent, poor lost soul that he was, and how can you not watch him in one of his earlier works.
I have a vague recollection of watching this as a teenager and just loving it. My tastes have since changed-hopefully matured- so I don't think I'll go and rewatch it. I didn't know Jan Michael Vincent had died until I clicked on yourlink. Hope you are staying sane in these crazy times.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...oh how I miss seeing children building sandcastles on the beach.
ReplyDeleteYes, we'll get those days back. Just not soon :(

ReplyDeleteI re-watched it for the fond memories. So sweet. And he was so pretty back in the day :)
DeleteI'm not into romance, BUT I will watch the first 10 minutes to see if it sticks with me.
ReplyDeleteGive it a try, that's the way :) I've discovered how easy it is not to finish something that turns out not to be to my taste.
DeleteNow who would have thought that there was such a thing as a supernatural romance story to be told.
ReplyDeleteI read one once, and I wouldn't recommend it lol But this is such a sweet story.
DeleteI've never heard of this film or the actor. Sandcastles are always fun. Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt touched me back in my impressionable youth. I still think it's nicely done.
