Identity

Identity is a 2003 loose adaptation (or perhaps "a film inspired by" might be a better way to describe it) of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. I watched it on Netflix.

trailer:

Reviews were generally positive but not glowing. I think it's fascinating to see how Agatha Christie's work continues to inspire, and I'm always up for seeing a new adaptation.

  4. Fabulous that it's inspired by Agatha Christie, I bet it keeps you engaged and is a very intriguing plot. What's not to like if John Cusack is part of the cast 😊. Happy November! Hugs Jo x

  6. I think I've seen this one. It was like two plots in one, I think. Or maybe I just think I saw it (grin)!

  8. This sounds interesting. You're right -- Agatha will never die -- she just keeps on, whether it is in renewal of her books or story or her inspiration to others.

    1. It really is amazing to see how well she's stood the test of time when so many other mystery writers have been forgotten.

  10. I think I saw this one years ago because it had a lot of decent actors and it was an Agatha Christie inspired movie--but I don't remember being impressed--LOL! But then I don't like the screamer movies and that is not Agatha's style. Oh well.

    1. This one does feel less like a cozy Christie mystery than other adaptations.
