from Mental Floss:
Like everything, coffee and caffeine are best enjoyed in moderation. A few cups daily can provide health benefits...Join me in a cup? But whatever you're having, please share it with the T Stands for Tuesday blogger gathering.
1. Coffee is loaded with antioxidants. ...
2. Coffee can lower your risk of serious disease. ...
3. Coffee might stave off cognitive decline. ...
4. Coffee could help protect your heart. ...
5. Coffee may ease symptoms of depression. ...
...and in my mind it tastes bad!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the health tips :) Moderation, needs to be in my house, the key word of December.
ReplyDeleteHubby is a coffee snob! He makes it and it is very particular for him!
ReplyDeleteI'll join in with my cup of tea, white and sweet
ReplyDeleteI've been a plain black coffee drinker since I started in my late teens, but recently occasionally have it with cream and an unsweetened flavoring because I missed my occasional International coffee--but wanted to avoid all the strange ingredients in that treat coffee. Very recently have even started drinking teas in the evenings (also plain without milk or sugar). But my mainstay is still plain black coffee. Grind my beans and do pour-over now the past several years.
ReplyDeleteI'll gladly join you with a coffee! Happy T day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI like my coffee black with nothing in it too.
ReplyDeleteMy preference is tea, and I'll happily join you while you drink your coffee 😊. I take my tea black and unsweetened too 😊. Wishing you a very happy TTuesday! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteI've used half and half forever with my coffee, but lately I found a bean I really like, so I've enjoyed it black. I always grind my own beans right before I make my pot of coffee. I go for moderation with a big dose of extremism (grin). Can't live without my caffeine! Thanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday. I have missed you for T and am glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteI join you with my (drip) coffee with milk. The first sip is always the best.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how coffee and tea both have such good things in them. I don't drink coffee, but my mom drank a lot and she lived until 93. Hope it was a great T day.
ReplyDeleteI am drinking tea...always! But is sounds like coffee is good for you.
ReplyDeleteHappy tea Day,
Kate
awesome I can get on your blog-wonder why others could but not me glad you were able to figure out what to do I drink plain decaf coffee nothing added except once in awhile a little whipped cream
ReplyDeleteIt was a problem with Norton's settings. They had a handy button to click to dispute their decision, and they responded quickly. Again, I am so grateful you showed me what the problem was. I'd never have known otherwise.
DeleteLove the coffee affirmation here. Makes me feel even less guilty about sneaking in another cup this morning. I do add a touch of milk to mine - a lifetime habit that I can't break (55 years of it - lol). Happy late T-day and Hugz
ReplyDeleteI only drink decaf but it also helps with asthma. Still looking after sick kitties, so I'm very late to the party. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
