Wow! Hadn't thought about him for years. Looks like he'll be 80 this year. And yes--I thought of Last Train to Clarksville because my younger sister was into the Monkees and played their albums on repeat for a while there--LOL! Me--I was into the Beatles. Elvis was just a hair before my adolescent time and didn't grab my heart like the Beatles did--LOL!
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.

I was a BIG Monkees fan :) I loved the tv show as well as the music. I remember where I was when I heard Davy had died :(
