L.A. Confidential

L.A. Confidential is a 1997 award-winning neo-noir crime drama starring Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, James Cromwell, David Strathairn, Kim Basinger, and Danny DeVito. I watched it with adds at this Amazon Prime link. It takes place during the Christmas season.

  2. I remember this film. It's been a long time since I watched it. I guess I need to watch it again to refresh my mind. Hope you've had a good week since the power came back.

    1. I hadn't seen it before. That grocery trip was a shocker, but I lost all the fridge/freezer food. It's nice to be able to have my morning coffee and a hot bath every once in a while :)

  3. I think I've seen this one ... wasn't it a start for Russell ... no matter, while I am not familiar with Father Knows Best or Ozzie & Harriet, I think I'll stick to the nice family Christmas movies :)

    1. It looks like it's on Showtime through Amazon Prime. And Hulu. But we don't get either of those.

    1. I've only seen it this once. It has somehow never made it to the level of Die Hard as a Christmas staple.

  8. One of my favorite dramas. I loved the ending, too. Rollo Tomasi!
