I might check this out with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%. I watched the Lemondrop Kid yesterday. Not my favorite Bob Hope film, and I thought it was rather "jumpy". The music scene in NY was well done, and then I wondered, why did the girl come back to him? Anyhow, sometimes I don't know if the movie was just not one of the best or it spoke to a time I don't know anything about. Hope your week has gone well.
It's Bob Hope at Christmas, and that was enough for me ;) His movies were never intended to be anything but entertainment fluff, and that's all I was expecting.
If I could sit for nearly two hours, I would definitely watch this one. I'll bookmark it for later so I can watch it when my back is in better condition.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
I just read the IMDB blurb about the movie. Ice cream wars. Sounds like fun
ReplyDeleteYes, it is fun :)
