L.A. Confidential is a 1997 award-winning neo-noir crime drama starring Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, James Cromwell, David Strathairn, Kim Basinger, and Danny DeVito. I watched it with adds at this Amazon Prime link. It takes place during the Christmas season.
I remember this film. It's been a long time since I watched it. I guess I need to watch it again to refresh my mind. Hope you've had a good week since the power came back.
I hadn't seen it before. That grocery trip was a shocker, but I lost all the fridge/freezer food. It's nice to be able to have my morning coffee and a hot bath every once in a while :)
I think I've seen this one ... wasn't it a start for Russell ... no matter, while I am not familiar with Father Knows Best or Ozzie & Harriet, I think I'll stick to the nice family Christmas movies :)
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...I've never seen it.

ReplyDeleteI'm favoring the happier and more seasonal viewing this year.
DeleteI don't know this one, I wonder if it's on Amazon prime here? Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's on Showtime through Amazon Prime. And Hulu. But we don't get either of those.
DeleteI've never seen this
ReplyDeleteThis was my first time.
DeleteI saw this but my recollection is a bit foggy. ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, it hasn't been very long for me, but the memory's already fading.
DeleteI really enjoyed this one. Seen it 2-3 times, and wouldn't mind watching it again!
ReplyDeleteI've only seen it this once. It has somehow never made it to the level of Die Hard as a Christmas staple.
DeleteOne of my favorite dramas. I loved the ending, too. Rollo Tomasi!
ReplyDeleteI guess I should watch it again :)
DeleteLove it.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI haven't seen this for awhile. It's very good.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed it all these years.
DeleteMr. M. and I just watched this one, again. It's a great movie.
ReplyDeleteI don't think my husband has ever seen it.
