Curvature (2017) - slow going, and a disappointment in the end. I like time travel movies, but this one failed to have a plausible, tie it all together, resolution.
I grew up watching The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Had a crush on Ricky like so many girls my age but I don't remember much about the actual episodes other than Ricky sang in a band when he was in high school. His songs were on the radio, too.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...I was never a fan of his.
ReplyDeleteBut he was so adorable! And I do like Rio Bravo.
DeleteLovely. Of course I know of Ricky Nelson ... as a kid when I'd get introduced the oldies would always sing his famous song "well hello Mary-Lou"
ReplyDeleteMy early years listening to the radio were kind of between his big years.
DeleteI liked his music.
ReplyDeleteMovies:
Hellmington (2018) - slow going, but it was good
Clara (2018) - a little sad, but good
Curvature (2017) - slow going, and a disappointment in the end. I like time travel movies, but this one failed to have a plausible, tie it all together, resolution.
I'll look them up. Thanks! Tubi is such a great resource!
DeleteI remember when he died. He was too young to go. This is a very young Ricky Nelson, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteyes, he was just 45 :( I'm not sure when this video is from, but my guess would be in the early 60s? maybe.
DeleteI'm sorry he died so young, but I on't like his music. Valerie
ReplyDeleteOh, I did!

ReplyDeleteYes, he was a cutie-pie.
DeleteI always liked him -- who didn't?! And a wonderful song.
ReplyDeleteI liked him, too :)
DeleteI remember him from Rio Bravo, but mainly from his music. He left us way too young.
ReplyDeleteHe was a good addition to Rio Bravo, wasn't he!
DeleteDid I even know he was dead? I don’t recall anything about him! I think my family watched Ozzie and Harriet but I’m not sure.
ReplyDeletehave a great New Year’s Eve… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
We didn't watch Ozzie and Harriet... not sure why.
DeleteWow. I have heard of him, but didn't even know he died. Such great talent was lost far too soon.
