Tarzan Triumphs

Image from Wikipedia

Tarzan Triumphs is a 1943 Johnny Weissmuller film in which Tarzan fights Nazis. You can watch it here, but honestly unless you're a completist I don't know why you would.

  1. My father-in-law was a Tarzan fan. Especially these old ones. I think I have seen this one. I can see a couple of scenes in my head but I honestly can't tell if it was from this one or another one of these Tarzan films. Happy Thursday. Hugs-Erika

    1. I'm a big Johnny Weissmuller fan. I think this was his 7th Tarzan film, and I don't like these RKO ones much.

  2. I didn't realize they made a movie with him fighting Nazis. Noble cause, but not my cup of tea.

    1. 1943 war-time propaganda don't make for a good Tarzan movie imo :(

  4. I love the Tarzan movies. Tarzan's 3 Chances was the first movie I saw at a drive-in when I was 7. I liked the main feature, El Cid with Charlton Heston better

  7. They used to play all the Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies when I was a kid on Saturday afternoon matinee. I watched a lot of them and think I have seen this one, too. Weird premise. Not one of the better ones--LOL! ;)

    1. Like the Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films. They took familiar characters and enlisted them for the cause.
