Wicked Woman is a 1953 film noir. Percy Helton and Richard Egan are the actors most familiar to me. I kept getting interrupted by real life while I was watching this and still haven't finished it.
Noir of the Week calls it a "tawdry but sobering slice of femme fatale film noir".
Are you watching these on archive.com (or maybe archive.org) -- I just discovered that site this weekend during a genealogy search and they had thousands of movies and lots of noir!
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...I've known some wicked women, but not this one!
ReplyDeletelol
DeleteGreat title
ReplyDeleteIt stands out.
DeleteI wonder why you'd have a film wicked women and never hear of a film Wicked Men. It doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?
ReplyDeleteThe men in this are more wicked than the women lol
DeleteThe men may be more wicked, but they are hunks!!!
ReplyDeleteExcept for Percy Helton, who is just too creepy for words in this film lol
DeleteLooks good. Why are people always surprised more by wicked women than wicked men? Valerie
ReplyDeletePeople fall for a pretty exterior. It's how the "hunks" never get viewed as wicked either ;)

ReplyDeleteI find some on Internet Archive, but this one's on Youtube. I'm impressed by how many options there are!
DeleteYes, I agree that the men were more wicked than the women in this one--LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteSleazy, weren't they!
