Leptirica

Leptirica (or The She-Butterfly) is a 1973 Yugoslav horror film, the first Serbian horror movie. A type of vampire movie, it is nicely done and has aged well. It's only an hour long, too, so it's easy enough to check out if you don't mind sub-titles.

Here's a screen shot from about 2 1/2 minutes in:

Can I offer you a drink while you watch the film?

Please share a post with a drink in it and join us at the T Stands for Tuesday blogger gathering.

  1. Good morning, interesting film, and your drink beverage had me grinning. Enjoyed your atc's While watching the hockey game-I don't usually watch but Missouri is in the finals) I made your drink recipe-I had one can of sparkling pink grapefruit left so it worked good-just needed a splash of agave.
    Happy T wishes Kathy

    1. Hockey is a game we never saw much. I'm not even sure our state has a team, much less one that could make it to the finals. Congrats! The recipe is adaptable, hoorah! :) I'd forgotten how mild the flavor of tequila is.

  2. A little too early for wine just yet. I'll stick with my morning cuppa. Thank you. Another great pack of ATCs. An earworm now running through my head. I got a brand new pair of roller skates. You got a brand new key. :-d And I'd like to be with the little girl on the beach. Happy T Day

    1. Yes, coffee is all I've had so far today. And water, of course lol I always liked that song. So much fun :) Isn't that little girl adorable? I found her in an old brochure in a stack of magazines a friend sent my way.

  7. Happy T Tuesday! Glad you enjoyed the horror film, it's not my cup of tea (pun intended, sorry I could resist) ...lol 😉. Your ATCs are fabulous, so much wonderful inspiration and I love the Memphis one! Now I'm wondering why padded envelopes aren't your friends, is it to do with the making of your ATC? Enjoy your T Tuesday and have a wonderful week! Jo x

    1. I couldn't get anything to reliably stick to the plastic side. I've since used a piece of padded envelope using the paper side, and that worked fine, but the plastic didn't make a good substrate at all.

      Puns are always welcome :)

    2. I've only used the plastic to stamp paint with, it's a bit like bubble wrap. Glad you liked the pun ...lol 😉. xx

  9. I'd have to pass on that movie. I am not a fan of that style of film although it does sound interesting.
The ATC's looked really interesting, I particularly liked the one with the chair,
    Happy T day wishes.

  10. I really enjoy seeing all your ATCs, D. They say a lot - but very succinctly. Today's favorites: Mother and Child; Memphis; and Little Girl.

    Happy T-day! Eileen xx

  11. I enjoyed your pick of movies this week, dear. I also liked the photo you shared of the drink, too.

I have too many ATCs I enjoyed this week to share. They are all fabulous. I agree about not using the padded envelope in an ATC. However, if you don't experiment, you never learn, right? I love what you are making here.

  12. Love the resulting ATCs from the prompts. And I hold you responsible for getting me hooked on You Tube old movies! Just watched 1 1954 Black Widow. It wasn't the Black Widow I wanted to watch; I wanted the one with Joseph Cotton.
Also wanted to watch Carry Grant in Arsenic and Old Lace, but it wasn't free. :)
    Happy Day!

  13. will go and check out the movie... and padded envelopes: i only use them when i have something not flat... i´ve had several bad experiences with the post.
as you asked: all my collages are 17x17 cm - that´s about 6,7 inch (the frame shown in the pics not measured; i do glue them onto colored cardboard and bind them to a book)
    have a nice week:))

  15. I usually can't read fast enough, to keep up with subtitles in movies. You have a lovely assortment of artwork, as usual. I chuckled at your lesson learned this week. Happy T-Day!

    1. Too much soda for me, so I only drank half of it. I've made another since then, and I only used 1 oz of the tequila in a smaller glass. That was better.
