A Bullet for Sandoval

A Bullet for Sandoval is a 1969 revenge spaghetti western starring Ernest Borgnine and George Hilton. This can be a bit hard to follow, but worth it because of the cast.

Spaghetti-Western.net praises it, but calls for an uncut DVD release. Fistful of Pasta has an intriguing history of the film. DVD Talk says, "it's remarkably well paced and often times so dark in tone that you can't help but appreciate it."

  1. I always laugh when you give us a spaghetti western. Not sure why, but I think it's because many are so bad they are good.

  2. Spaghetti westerns are quite the genre, aren't they? I always find it interesting how the Italian film industry and the movie market there just loved our western culture. Hugs-Erika

  3. Thank you for the recommendation, I always enjoy a good spaghetti western and of course my favourite has to be the Dollars Trilogy with Clint Eastwood 😀. Enjoy the rest of the week and Happy Weekend! J 😊

    1. Yes, that trilogy is the best! I hadn't realized how many spaghetti westerns there were until I started watching them.
