Out of Darkness (Hulu) is a 2022 film. Hard to describe, it follows six ancient-era humans who arrive on the shores of an unknown land in search of resources and a better life. They don't find it, not at all, and are soon attacked. Perhaps "survival thriller" might be a good description. It gets positive reviews, and I liked it.

Sounds interesting, sad they didn't get to find a better life, rather a survival experience, however hopefully they all made it out ok! Hope you have an amazing rest of the summer!

I was surprised by the ending.
Delete...we need to move out of the darkness, now.
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeful.
DeleteIt sounds rather scary!
ReplyDeleteUnusual. And startling at times.
DeleteThat sounds very interesting, I like those early human era movies, I cannot help but wonder what life would have been like back then.
ReplyDeleteI remember One Million Years B.C. It made quite an impression on me.
DeleteSadly, I don't get Hulu now everything is behind a pay wall. Do you remember when they started, everything was free.
ReplyDeleteYes, they used to have rotating titles for free but not anymore :( We get Hulu as part of a bundle.
DeleteDo you keep a list of ones you've seen? You view so many!
ReplyDeleteThis blog is my list lol It's what I go to if I forget whether or not I've seen something.
DeleteThe sci-fi part of this intrigues me. Went to go look for it on Hulu and it says not there. :( Oh well. Sometimes things are available in some regions and not others. I don't know why that happens with streaming.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's gone from Hulu now :( It's on Paramount+ now.
DeleteThank you so much for sharing.

DeleteSounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt was unusual, which is a plus in these days.
DeleteThis sounds really interesting, and different. Different is good sometimes!
ReplyDeleteIn these days when it seems everything's a prequel or a sequel or a remake, different is definitely good.
