Tom Jones is the award-winning 1963 comedy film adaptation of the Henry Fielding novel and stars Albert Finney and Susannah York. The book itself is in the public domain and can be read online here. I have the movie on DVD but watched it on HBO Max.

I've never read the book or watched the movie. Points to them for lusty dining, but they need classes in table manners. The fade to black was tastefully done. 🤣 Happy T Day
ReplyDelete...I was expecting the singer.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, I don't remember this movie and I liked Tom Jones-will check out the book
ReplyDeleteHappy T
An all-time favorite. It's time to watch this again. Ah, Albert Finney. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOne I would pass on but you have been getting in some variety lately, I must say. ;)
ReplyDeleteNever knew this - fun! And happy T-Day :-)
ReplyDeleteI have started this many times and can't get through it.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw that when it was pretty new, never since. Maybe I should re-watch. I'm having the same issue with blogger saying I'm not signed in, but not letting me in. Also many comments on my blog marked as spam when they are the same people who have commented before and after. Really a mess.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I didn't see this one, but I do like Albert Finney. I'm having the same trouble as you not being able to leave comments on especially Wordpress blogs again:(. Hope it gets fixed. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLusty dining sounds intriguing, Thanks for sharing this film and lusty drink with us for T this Tuesday, dear.
