Machete and Machete Kills

Machete is a 2010 action movie starring Danny Trejo, Steven Seagal, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, and Robert De Niro. I watced these because of Danny Trejo, but this first one especially is surprising good. Much fun to watch. It's on Amazon Prime.

Machete Kills is the 2013 sequel. This one stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Mel Gibson. It's not as good as the first one, but again it has Danny Trejo in it, which is draw enough for me. I saw the sequel on Netflix.

    Hmm. Maybe I'll try suggesting this for tonight. Himself wasn't thrilled with Mute and I had to switch it off about 20 min. in.

      I'm sorry Mute wasn't his thing. My husband and I agree on movies much of the time, but I think that's because I watch ones I don't think he'll like up during the day without him ;)

    I've seen both of these. A bit gory (like Tarantino gory), but I enjoyed both. I saw them several years ago on cable. Hard to imagine these are 12 and 9 years old respectively.
