Paheli is an award-winning 2005 Indian (Hindi) fantasy film. A delightful, lighthearted, beautiful romance (and y'all know I don't generally care for romance). This is more along the lines of a fairy tale, though, and those I do like. I watched it on Netflix.

...how do you find the time to watch all that you do?
ReplyDeleteI prioritize it ;) I watch at least one movie a day, often over lunch and then again at night. Right now I'm re-watching the Hornblower series at night or the new Lincoln Lawyer series, but I'm watching a movie during lunch.
DeleteHimself couldn't even take the music from the trailer so this is definitely something I'll have to watch without him. He can be such a Visigoth sometimes 😸
ReplyDeleteHindi film is an acquired taste ;) They are sometimes musical and often long, but I've loved every single one I've seen.
DeleteI don't think I would like this, sorry! Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt was sooo pretty!
DeleteI've only seen bits of Indian films when a former student of mine would watch them during her lunch in my room, and share bits with me. I don't know if I would like them or not, but I should watch at least 1 to know. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSome are light-hearted and some are serious. I'm sure you could find something that would appeal to you.
DeleteThis looks sweet and colorful, too!
ReplyDeleteYes, those are good words to describe it :)
DeleteI can't begin to believe how far behind I am. I am so sorry for not visiting sooner. This doesn't sound like something I would actually care to watch.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen any of the Indian films I haven't liked. They don't appeal to everybody.
