    1. It's not about the music. It's the tale of a the band, a band that didn't achieve break-through status while the bands influenced by them did.

  6. It's not a band I've heard of, but agree interesting that they influenced more success in others than achieved themselves ... but maybe that is their mission/purpose on their path to greatness.

    1. Except they never got to greatness themselves. I loved that the bands that did get there made efforts to help them.

  7. I've been having trouble leaving comments. In fact, for nearly two days, even though I kept refreshing, there was no comment box at all. This was especially true for embedded comment boxes like yours. It must have been a Blogger glitch. I sincerely hope this is now straightened out.

This sounds similar to some of the problems my friend Joseph went through when he was hiring an agent. The agent told him that the steel drum was too prominent in his work and to use less of it. Needless to say, he didn't hire the guy. I'll watch this when I have a chance.

    1. I haven't had any commenting trouble so can't guess what the problem has been. I've missed you!

Agents are key players. It's interesting to hear some musicians who've made it big and others who've struggled to get even local attention and wonder what happened.
