There is something wrong with my internet. I wonder why it is so slow all of a sudden. I was going to watch this yesterday (and thought I had left a comment saying so), but I had a terrible time with it buffering.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
Too fun! Karloff's voice is great. I want him to say And he, he Himself, carved the roast beast.
ReplyDeleteHe did such a variety of things.
Delete...the carnivorous plants sound interesting.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a different element lol
DeleteI can but peek in (our internet is not that good) - seems to be FUN, creepy fun, but FUN!
ReplyDeleteFun! Those 50s horror movies are fun :)
DeleteI love films from this period. Wonderful b&w cinematography.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. Often overlooked, it surprises me how many people won't watch b&w films.
DeleteKarloff! Automatic entertaining flick...

ikr?!
DeleteI've seen this film. It is too fun in a vintage comedy sort of way if I remember correctly.
ReplyDeleteThe 50s horror films have a bad reputation in some circles, but I love them. No blood, no gore, but plenty of thriller suspense.
DeleteThis sounds really familiar...another Saturday night monster movie on TV, I think. Elvira hosted those. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe got them on Wednesday afternoons or with a local host late at night. I'd forgotten how many of the old horror B movies I'd seen as a child.

ReplyDeleteBummer :( I tend to blame weather, but we'll never know why we can't just Get Videos To Work! Humph :(
DeleteI love this movie. One that my dad and I watched together and I sometimes revisit it.
