ReplyDelete...coffee isn't my thing!
ReplyDeleteLOL ... I wonder what they are really selling!?
ReplyDeleteAh, those were the days. Me? The best stimulant is Diet Coke! (It used to be Tab. I mourn.)
ReplyDeleteYes!!!! I'm drinking coffee right now. Happy T Day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLol ... it's groovy man 😁. Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI have coffee-gummy-bears, does that count? These are the Pizza muffins (German, but with video, so you have an easy way to follow, feel free to ask otherwise).
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYep even now an iced coffee sounds delicious-you find the most interesting videos for us Happy T wishes
ReplyDeleteTrippy man!! Loved seeing what the 60s were really like because today films try to make it look like the 60s and sometimes it appears they fall flat. I am drinking my cold coffee right now, thank you. And thanks for this wonderful look back at what coffee looked like in the 60s for T this Tuesday, dear friend.
ReplyDeletemaybe that's when I got my love of coffee;) Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteCoffee is such a great drink! I've liked it since I was a little girl -- I was really happy when I was allowed to drink it every day.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
That is one psychedelic coffee commercial. I wonder how that worked selling java. Maybe it was a conservative ploy to get the hippies to drink coffee and drop drug use-ha-ha-ha. Hope it was a great T day.
ReplyDeleteWow - that is so fun! Love the way they tie it into sex, energy, dancing, etc. The comment - the more you take in the more you get back - that is sooo funny. No wonder we are all addicted to it - I am anyway. I think I will think of this commercial every time I drink it now. LOL. Happy late T-day!
ReplyDeleteFar out man. This is so groovy.
ReplyDeleteI began drinking coffee in the late 60s but not because of this groovy ad! I think the model used to be in magazines of the day, but maybe it was just 'the look'
ReplyDeleteThanks for your wise words on my blog! Belated Happy T Day. Hugs, Chrisx
That certainly is a groovy ad! Very psychedelic. It was probably to tell people that coffee can pick you up better than 'speed'. It's very 'of the time'. I love it because it was the era in which I was young. (late sixties: Carnaby Street fashion, Rubber Soul album, Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner)
ReplyDeleteHappy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
