  1. ...again a name that I've heard, but know nothing about!

    1. David Thewlis played the inspector in a 2015 BBC adaptation, and it's been adapted in India and Hong Kong and there've been numerous television adaptations. I've never seen the theater play they're all inspired by. I'd never heard of it 'til I saw the 2015 version.

  2. Alister Sim from A Christmas Carol?! This I need to see as we have never seen him in anything else.

    1. I don't think I'd seen him in anything else, either. I should look for him more.

  3. ... mind blown & isn't the young engaged gentleman at the begging - isn't he also from a Christmas Carol - the young nephew Fred?

    1. I had never heard of it before I saw the David Thewlis one. I've got the Bengali one scheduled to post. It was good, too.

  7. I believe this is the second one I've seen. I may have seen the first one because you posted it, but I am not sure. It's a good story. :)

    1. There's a Bengali one I have scheduled to post at some point. It's a universal story.

    1. I liked it, even though it hadn't been long since I'd seen the 2015 adaptation.
