Shimmer
Shimmer is a 10-page long story by Claudette Menalson about star-crossed faerie love ruined by human contact. I went into it expecting a book-length story and was surprised when it was just over. There's really not much to this, but it's a fine enough little story. I read it at ManyBooks.net.

Maybe in between cooking.
ReplyDeleteIt is quick. There I was, all settled in, and it was over lol
DeleteThanks for sharing, it was such a quick read 😁. It's a lovely story and the author descriptions are beautifully written! Wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I wish I'd realized it was a short story going in lol
DeleteThis sounds like a fun piece, thanks! Valerie
ReplyDeleteYes, it was fun :) -not something I usually read, but I'd have appreciated knowing how many pages long it was before I started reading. I check that now if I think I'm interested in a "book" ;)
Delete...I'm not much of a reader, but 10 pages sounds just right for me.
ReplyDeleteI started reading. And then I was done lol
DeleteBelieve it or not, since I am already so far behind, I thought I would take time to read the story. Having seen others say it was short, I went for it. I liked the visual imagery I got from this author. It was a lovely read, too.
ReplyDeleteIt was sooo quick a read. That's a great way to get a feel for an author's style.
