A Logan's Run ahead of its time.
ReplyDeleteYes, it reminded me of that, too :)
Delete...Kyoikusenga Ubasuteyama, now that quite a tongue twister!
ReplyDeleteI'm not even trying lol
DeleteThat's such a big name. Those Japanese translation words can be huge. I also cringed at the idea of 60 being elderly. Eeeks. Happy last day of November. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find a Wikipedia entry for it or a page that listed it under an English translation *sigh*
DeleteI started thinking of myself as a "senior" at 50 when I got my AARP card ;) I'd always heard "young adult" went to 35 or so, and "middle age" ended at 50. I got used to the idea of "old" before I ever hit 60 lol
OMG, I must be ancient....Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou and me both lol
DeleteI also thought of Logan's Run when I read the synopsis. I once heard 35 was considered MIDDLE AGE. It really shocked me when I heard that.
ReplyDeleteIn the United Methodist Church when they divide adult ministries by age: 18-35 is young adult and senior ministries begin somewhere between 50 and 65 depending on the church. So, yes 35 is middle age lol I decided to embrace it and use the maid/mother/crone names so that "middle age" had a more positive outlook :)
