    So is that a REAL chicken place that has been open since 1957? Cute video. I wonder what year it was made. Love how you find all this Memphis inspired information for us to peruse.

      Yes, Jack Pirtle's is a local fried chicken place along the KFC type: http://www.jackpirtleschicken.com/ .The 1st restaurant opened in 1957, but he had opened a cafe before that, back in 1945 close to the Firestone plant. I think this song/video is from 2013. It's from a 2013 album. She was born near Memphis and graduated from the University of Memphis with a 4.0 and a degree in Accounting. She has a Youtube channel with more videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/MylaSmith/videos
