Hot Cross Buns



Baking Hot Cross Buns is a Good Friday tradition at our house. This year I just made one double batch and didn't use fruit. They never turn out the same as the year before, but they're always good.

    I just re-read the comments on the nature center post from a few days ago. You're from Memphis? I've been impressed with that city for a while. Not the city so much as the general character of the population. I'd drive through there from NC to Oklahoma, and it left me with a good impression. Flat though! And coming from someone who's lived in Oklahoma for 4 years, that's saying something ;-)

    I'm a firm believer in comfort first, so thongs never had a chance with me. lol

    Yes, I'm from Memphis, and it is flat around here. People don't think of us as part of the Mississippi Delta, but I think we count.
