Three Days of the Condor is a 1975 political thriller. I'm sharing it today in memory of Max Von Sydow, who died on this date in 2020. This film also stars Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway, and Cliff Robertson and is directed by Sydney Pollack. It takes place during the Christmas season. I watched it at Internet Archive.
trailer:
Roger Ebert calls it "a well-made thriller, tense and involving, and the scary thing ... is that it's all too believable." Rotten Tomatoes has a critics consensus score of 86%.
Love Redford! I know I saw this back then but would love to actually see it again now. I remember it being good and I do love a young Robert. ;) The only place I could find it that I'm already subscribed to is Netflix DVDs...so it will be coming in the mail. :)
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...I've heard of this one!
ReplyDeleteI remember when it came out.
DeleteI remember this film. I haven't thought of it in a long time. Oh and I forgot it had Robert Redford in it. You got to love Robert Redford.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see it 'til I saw it on TV. Thrillers were never my favorites.
DeleteI'd forgotten about this one -- it's a good one!
ReplyDeleteI'd never seen it before.
DeleteRobert Be Still My 💙 Redford. Love this movie. Would have been better with someone other than Faye Dunaway
ReplyDeleteMax Von Sydow was the draw for me ;)
DeleteOhhh I really like this movie.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good one.

ReplyDeleteThat Internet Archive link still seems to work.
DeleteI love this film! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI came to it late.
DeleteI have actually seen this film. I am sure I saw it on Turner Classic Movies. Not fond of Dunaway and her voice, though.
ReplyDeleteI was in it for Max Von Sydow so Dunaway didn't get much of my attention.
