John Wick is an action thriller starring Keanu Reeves. I've forgotten where I came across it... Netflix? Amazon Prime, maybe? I'm glad I did, but it's not currently available free anywhere I can find. Fun film.
trailer:
Variety calls it a "slick and satisfying revenge thriller". Rotten Tomatoes has an 86% critics conscensus score.

...I've never heard to this one.
ReplyDeleteIt's a whole series.
DeleteIt's Keanu! I love all the John Wick movies. From IMDB there's a 4th and 5th movie of the series coming out! I watched "The Replacements" an old one of his on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fun that I've seen so far. I'll definitely check out any new ones that come out.
DeleteI need to check this out. Ever since watching and rewatching all the Matrix films, I suddenly developed a curiosity about Keanu Reeves. I think it is because I only remember or recognize him from the Matrix films and off the top of my head, can't think of him in any other film I've seen. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a series worth checking out. He's fun to watch.
DeleteI remember when this came out but don't know much about it. Action isn't one of my main genres.
ReplyDeleteI've liked a lot of the action movies I've seen.
DeleteA lot of action but then, it's Keanu.
ReplyDeleteYes lol
DeleteJust not my thing… but I bet my husband has watched it!
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.coom
We like the action movies at my house :)
DeleteI like Keanu Reeves a lot, but wee, that´s a lot of fighting.
ReplyDeleteThe action movies have gotten more violent over time.
DeleteI am a BIG fan of Keanu Reeves. Love this guy. After seeing the trailer, I know I have seen this before on TV, but don't remember where or when.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be randomly available, off and on. Except in China where they've blocked all his work :(
DeleteI've watched patrts of it never the whole thing. Usually if I'm channel surfing I'll see it and have to stop the problem is I never come upon it at the beginning.
ReplyDeleteIt does help to see films all the way through the first time. After that I can just jump in wherever it happens to be. That first time, though... I can't make good sense of it if I don't get in at the beginning.
DeleteI am not fond of too much fighting and violence, neither in films nor in the world. Valerie
ReplyDeleteIn real life, no, I don't want violence there.
DeleteBig fan of Keanu! Love it and the series.
ReplyDeleteYes, the violence in films has gotten much worse over the decades. I remember when people were throwing up in the theaters when The Godfather came out and that is now tame as can be by comparison. Sad but true. I got more used to it, too, I guess. Would hate it in real life.
It's a shame they feel like they have to keep pushing that envelope. I think it might be more attention-getting if they pulled it back.
DeleteA film I've heard of but not seen.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
