Without Remorse is a 2021 action thriller inspired by the Tom Clancy novel. This film spent over 20 years in development hell, and I'm glad it finally made it to us. I watched it on Amazon Prime. Michael B. Jordan is the best thing about the movie. The end sets up for a sequel. We'll see.

Roger Ebert's site is unimpressed. Hollywood Reporter concludes, "Audiences weary of superhero franchises and craving something leaner and meaner could do worse." Variety praises Jordan's performance.

DeleteSounds great, my favourite Tom Clancy's novel which was made into a film is Hunt for Red October and I'm sure I'll love this one too, the plot sounds fabulous 😊. Happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x

DeleteMy daughter watched this but we haven't yet. Too bad it didn't get great reviews or that you didn't like it that much. Usually Clancy books too movies are pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI liked it fine, but he is by far the best thing about it, and it's not one I'll re-watch... But I don't regret watching it. I'll watch a sequel if there is one.
DeleteIt makes me wonder why I still have cable when I could be watching Netflix and Amazon Prime for less each month.
ReplyDeleteWe got rid of cable ages ago, and it took us a while to try Netflix and then Amazon Prime because we have so many unwatched DVDs from when stores would go out of business or offer cheap used ones for sale.
DeleteThis is in my Prime watchlist. I have loved him as an actor since he was a young thing on All My Children--LOL! I said that kid is going to be somebody special. :) Am definitely going to watch this.
