The Addams Family is a 2019 animated adaptation of this remarkable family story. Delightful. If you enjoyed the Addams Family films or the 60s tv series, I'd highly recommend this. I watched it on Amazon Prime.

What a spring like mug - very pretty. I often see memes that feature the Adams family or uTube paradies.
ReplyDelete...my wife makes coffee this way.
ReplyDeleteA Beautiful mug, I never drink coffee at home only tea. We saw an Adams family film at the cinema with our GSs in San Francisco when we were over there 18 months ago.
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day

I had to look twice at your cup. I have a very similar - if not the same- one. It is somewhat unusual to see pansies on china. I'm going to have to get mine out.
ReplyDeleteThey're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky ... you may be surprised by this but I love the Addams Family! I used to watch the TV series. I've not seen the animated version so will give it a try 😀. That colourful pansy on your cup are delightful! Wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThe four-note opening music was once recognized as the second most-familiar four-note signature in the world... after the commencement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
ReplyDeleteLovely cup.

I always liked the original New Yorker cartoons where Chas Addams (as he signed himself) introduced the characters of his "family." Quite a creative artist!

Oh yes, I too remember the original version. (was it really black and white in those days?) And I used to love it. So I think I would enjoy the cartoon version too. I played the trailer and I was pleased to hear the same music in it as the original series. And all the familiar characters like Uncle Fester and cousin Itt and Thing (the hand).
ReplyDeleteHa, I see you have the Melitta filter (the one and only). Makes very good coffee.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
Love your coffee mug! Happy T Day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty cup - a reminder that spring will soon be here. We enjoyed the Addams Family series. This animated version looks very fun too.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

ReplyDeleteThe Addams Family is classic! I didn't know this was on prime ~ Thank you! I was Cousin it and won a costume contest when I was in grade school. I used 3 grass hula skirts, sunglasses and a top hat :) Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good film. Have you ever read the book this is based on (by Charles Addams)? I haven't but I should. And you mug is perfect for a snowy day here. Keeps me dreaming of spring. Hope it was a nice T day. Hugs-Erika
