Angel and the Badman

Angel and the Badman is a 1947 Western starring John Wayne, Gail Russell, and Harry Carey. I'm not a John Wayne fan, but this is a well-respected traditional western with a great cast. I watched it on Tubi at this link. It's also available on Pluto and the Internet Archive. Youtube has it:

TCM has an overview.

    1. We say, "He looks about 12," when we see stars in their earlier films lol

  5. I'm not a John Wayne fan, either, but I saw this long ago. Back when they'd have nothing but westerns on Saturday afternoons for a week or even a month. When there were only like four channels to pick from you watched the movie--LOL! ;)

    1. I remember those days. TV shows, too. If you didn't like westerns you watched them anyway lol or learned to like them lol

  6. I think I've seen this one. I'm not a John Wayne fan either (or westerns, that much) but it is a classic.

    1. There are movies worth watching in any genre, I think. Kinda like books. I don't like romance novels, for example, but some of them stand out.

  8. I don't know this film. I don't mind John Wayne. His style was definitely one for westerns, but not so much for other types of films.

  9. I've never even heard of this one, but I'm not into westerns. However, I agree we need more angels and far fewer bad men.
