Terror-Creatures from the Grave

Terror-Creatures from the Grave is a 1965 Italian/U.S. co-production starring the great Barbara Steele as the recent widow.

HorrorNews.net describes it:
Set in 1913, a lawyer receives a letter to come to a lonely castle to record the will of a dying man. Arriving there he finds out that his new client is already dead and only his beautiful widow and daughter from his first marriage are living there. As this movie is actually a murder mystery and a zombie flick thrown together, the plot twists and turns to keep both lines going.

    1. I like zombies. And vampires. And ghosts. It's slasher films where I draw the line

  3. I love a good mystery, but somehow this doesn't appeal to me.

    3. A Gothic horror icon from the 1960s, she's 82 years old and still active.

    5. She was also in The Winds of War and War and Remembrance (each of those was a tv miniseries in the 1980s based on books by Herman Wouk about WW2). I thought maybe you'd have seen those. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbara_Steele She's had an amazing and long career. I just prefer her Gothic horror ;)

    6. I didn't actually watch TV until I moved to Wichita. Before that, I worked two jobs and went to school full time, so I had no need or time to watch TV back then. That may be why I'm such a dunce when it comes to both films and TV shows.

    7. I hadn't seen any of her non-horror but just figure more people would've seen her in those war miniseries. I get a kick out of those lists that go around on FB about which tv shows you've seen more than 10 episodes of, and I haven't even heard of most of them lol I came to horror fairly recently and watch almost all the movies I see online. It used to be movies were something you had to go to a theater to see, and we've never done much of that. It's much easier to access now that I can just sit here and pick and choose. So, I _used_ to be a film dunce ;) but am "broadening my horizons". I imagine your art is what you devote most of your time to.
