The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore is a 2011 award-winning animated short film (15 minutes) about a young man who becomes the caretaker of a library of flying books. You'll be really missing something if you don't watch this.

  2. My favorite parts were when the letters flew off the pages and when he danced with the books. It was a GLORIOUS short.

    1. The short films can be harder to find online. I wish they still showed "shorts" before main features in theaters.

  4. What a fabulous short film! I really enjoyed watching it, and found it both charming and poignant 😁. So beautifully animated too, I love how they used the colour and the black and white within the film to highlight joy and darkness.
