DVD Talk calls it "a sincere, engaging sci-fi spectacle that makes a lovely ruckus, though it lacks a cracking pace that helped shape "Star Wars" into a legend." TCM has information.

It sounds like an interesting film with it being described as "The Magnificent Seven in outer space". I use to enjoy watching The Magnificent Seven films, they seemed so action packed and who can resist a plot where good triumphs over evil :-). Wishing you a great weekend! J :-)
