Celtic Crossing

The Husband, The Younger Son and I went to Cooper-Young in Midtown Memphis to Celtic Crossing for lunch one day. I'd have sat out on the lovely patio, but they preferred the air conditioning inside. It's a comfortable place:

They have televisions there and seem to cater especially to soccer (internationally called "football" as The Younger Son reminds us).

You can see the lunch menu here. I had the fish and chips:

and I'm here to tell you that's a dish worth returning for. We decided not to even try resisting dessert:

with coffee. We were full, but happy. What a great restaurant!

Please join the T Tuesday gathering hosted at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog. Share a drink with us.

  3. This post is NOT showing up on my sidebar and I am not sure if you want me to link you, or not. I was really impressed with this restaurant you discovered. It was fun to read the Celtic menu, too. I'd come on Sunday for the eggs Benedict.

I agree with you. It may be football to others, but it is still soccer to me.

Thanks for taking us on this voyage to Celtic Crossing, and sharing your meal and dessert with us, along with your coffee for T this Tuesday.

    1. I'm posting later in the day than I used to lol, but I did link after I hit the "publish" button on the post.

My son claims American football isn't really football but more hand-egg ;)

  4. Oh fish 'n chips! Yum! That looks mighty good. As does the cheese cake. The fish and chips is something I'm looking forward to when we go to the UK in October. There's nothing like it!
Happy T-Day and a good week ahead,

  12. Good fish and chips seems hard to find, looks like you had great success. Like Elizabeth, I'd want to try the Eggs Benedict as well. Maybe you need to do a little research on that dish for us, LOL!
