The Eagle Nest Cam here in Tennessee has a lot to show. The nest has 2 eggs!
from the site:
This disabled bald eagle pair (Franklin & Independence) has produced numerous young during previous breeding seasons, which have all been successfully released into the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains - on Douglas Lake in Dandridge, Tennessee. They'll be even more fun to watch after the eggs hatch.
What is the American Eagle Foundation (AEF)? Established in 1985, the non-profit AEF is dedicated to protect the majestic Bald Eagle, the USA's National Symbol, and its habitat by supporting and conducting eagle and environmental recovery and education programs.
In 2010, the organization celebrated its 25th Anniversary.

We have several eagle's nests along Lake Erie and in the Cleveland area. I've seen the nests in a couple of places but always at a distance that you really need binoculars. Although a friend parked under a tree at Marblehead near Sandusky where two bald eagles were perched.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I wonder what they look like right from the egg.
ReplyDeletebob, i've been up to reelfoot lake in northern tennessee/southern kentucky in january in years past to see the eagles there. that was fun. the eagle cam does give a bird's eye view (so to speak). it's a very close view.
ReplyDeletetbm, you'll have to check back on them and see them once they've hatched. sweet
