The Muppet Movie (Disney+) is a 1979 musical road comedy film, the first theatrical film with the Muppets. It features cameo appearances by Bob Hope, Dom DeLuise, James Coburn, Cloris Leachman, Richard Pryor, Telly Savalas, Edgar Bergen (in his final film appearance before his death), Orson Welles, Carol Kane, Steve Martin, and Mel Brooks, among others. Delightful, a feel-good movie. I rewatch this every once in a while.

It's fun to see these actors with the Muppet characters.
DeleteOMGoodness! I remember watching this with my son, Dagan, when he was maybe about six or seven years old. Whenever it came on TV the first time. Cute movie! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw it in the theater lol
DeleteI don't know what it is. I have never been a fan of the muppets.
ReplyDeleteThe movie isn't much like the tv Muppet shows.
DeleteHimself loves this movie
ReplyDeleteOooo, nice!
DeleteI enjoyed it at the time but I’ve never turned back to it. I more remember the one in 2010 where Amy Adams said they would travel “by map” — we refer to that from time to time.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I don't much like the others that followed, though the Treasure Island and Scrooge ones are wonderful.
DeleteI love love love this one. I rewatch it every now and again too.
