Hunger (Netflix) is a 2023 Thai drama film about a street-food cook who is invited to join a fine-dining restaurant under the infamous Chef Paul, who is a hard taskmaster. It is well-reviewed. I enjoyed following the cook as she made her way through the restaurant business.

DeleteLooks like a Thai version of The Bear. Having worked in cafes/small restaurants (with not enough staff) in my youth, I find watching The Bear quite stressful. Can only watch one episode at a time and days apart--lol! No matter how good the acting is...it gives me flashbacks--lol! I don't think I can add another version of that stress...that also has subtitles. But it looks very good. ;)
