Moria has a review noting the disappointment
that it sets up a great title fight and then squanders the opportunity. For all its promised title match, the script does almost nothing to establish the rivalry and enmity between the two of them or give much reason for their fated confrontation.HorrorNews.net has a negative review. Weird Wild Realm closes with this: "A silly film throughout, sure, it nevertheless has a decent degree of shlock appeal."
...it must be a seasonal favorite!
ReplyDeleteHorror films are especially fun in October :)
DeleteI don't know this film but will check it out more. I will tell you that some of the most scary, with great story lines have been Spanish/Mexican movies. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew Spanish. I think I lose in the translation, but still the Spanish/Mexican films have never disappointed me :)
DeleteNot sure this one is my cup of tea. But I love reading about all these films and stories I knew nothing about!
ReplyDeleteso many movies, so little time lol right?
DeleteBased on the negative reviews, I think I'll pass on this one, dear.
ReplyDeleteI was in it for what that reviewer calls the "schlock appeal" ;)
DeleteI thought you'd be enjoying and featuring horror movies throughout October with it being Halloween, enjoy ...lol 😀. Happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI pack 'em in during October lol I watched 2 yesterday
DeleteI'm not big on mixed monster movies: I prefer one type of monster per movie / TV series. I used to like the vampire show that was on Fox (I think), then they added werewolves, and I stopped watching it.
ReplyDeleteI prefer single monsters, but I've liked the original Dark Shadows tv series, and the Grimm and Buffy tv series. Vampires are my favorites.
