Strange Impersonation
Strange Impersonation is a 1945 film noir, but there are some elements of horror to it, including a facial disfigurement and a scientist with a plan. The DVD costs about $30 at Amazon, and they charge $2 to rent it on Prime. I watched it at Internet Archive, but that link is dead now. I don't even see a trailer online. Here's a scene:

Meh
ReplyDeleteIt is what it is ;)
DeleteI am not familiar with this one at all. Not that that is anything unusual for me. Smile. Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of it. I most likely saw it on a fellow blogger's post -most likely Anne's ...

ReplyDeletepoorly
DeleteI love movies like this. However $30.00 really? LOL Thanks for sharing this trailer.
ReplyDeleteIt bizarre they charge so much for these old movies so few people want to see.
DeleteWe don't have cable. The old movies is the main thing I miss :(
ReplyDeleteToo steep for my wallet. And it doesn't even sound all that interesting to me. I might look for it on TCM, but I'm thinking of getting rid of cable.
ReplyDeleteI got rid of cable years ago and except for the 24-hr news/commentary I haven't missed it. Eventually we got Amazon Prime and then later Netflix. Much cheaper than cable here.
DeleteThese days I don't even rent movies for $2 since I already pay for Netflix, Prime, Acorn, and BritBox--LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree. If it isn't free or available on the services I'm already paying for I just don't watch it.
