by Bob Dylan, who will turn 76 years old tomorrow.
Lyrics excerpt from the beginning of the song:
Your breath is sweet
Your eyes are like two jewels in the sky
Your back is straight your hair is smooth
On the pillow where you lie
But I don't sense affection
No gratitude or love
Your loyalty is not to me
But to the stars above
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go.
To the valley below.
....
I remember the chorus to that song, but never knew the lyrics. I think this is a fabulous T Stands For Tuesday entry. I was born a decade too late, because this is my kind of music!
ReplyDeleteI had NO idea Dylan was that old. So happy birthday, Bob. You sing with passion and make me feel like a teen again.
A great tribute to Bob for his birthday tomorrow and perfect for T Day too 😁. I'm loving the atmospheric photo of him too! Happy T Tuesday! J 😊
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Bob is going to be 76. He's a classic icon for sure seeing he's been around for a long time. Which is also hard to believe. I saw him in concert about 15 years ago and I wouldn't have guess it was so long ago except thinking about his age. I guess we're all getting ages that are higher numbers. But I won't say old. Ha-ha!
ReplyDelete76!! I am getting so old.
ReplyDeleteNever heard this song before. :)
