Stay for Tea

Ah, October, one of my favorite months! -and not only because it has Hallowe'en. I watch more horror movies in October than at other times of the year. Like everything else in life, there's a tea connection. I'm pouring myself a cozy cuppa spice tea and watching a horror short film named Stay for Tea:

It's by Andrew Thompson and won Second Place in the Florida State University Midnight Short Horror Competition.

I'll bet there aren't any other horror movies playing at T(ea) Tuesday over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's weekly party, so feel free to skip my horror and just enjoy the sweeter offerings over there.

  1. I can't wait to return to watch this, dear. No time now, but I'll be back once life returns to a bit of normalcy. I know it will be fun to watch, since you recommended it.

Thanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday, and thanks for leaving such sweet comments even when I've been too busy to return the favor.

    1. Well, "sharing" and "recommending" aren't quite the same thing ;) but it did win a prize. That must count for something. lol

  2. I'd love to join you for tea but I'd probably have my hands over my eyes for most of the movie, hahaha.

    1. I'm a latecomer to horror, but my older son likes them and introduced me. I'll have a separate cozy room available for the non horror fans ;)

  3. haha toward the end there I thought I might have to tune out but I stuck with it (I am not a horror film kinda girl)
the way it was filmed was a bit of a horror for me actually as I get motion sick fairly easily LOL
    It was suspenseful.
Your tea cup sure is pretty...I am a big fan of pottery.
Nice to be back for tea
    Happy October!

    1. I'm glad you like the cup. I bring it out for Fall every year. :) I don't care for slasher films or torture plots, but I don't mind some of the tamer stuff.

  8. Love that little cup. I love Halloween too and it was great to see all the houses decorated up in the States. I just wish we did more over here in the UK, where it all started. Time to get my Halloween quilt on the wall. Perhaps I will share it next week.
