Ah, October, one of my favorite months! -and not only because it has Hallowe'en. I watch more horror movies in October than at other times of the year. Like everything else in life, there's a tea connection. I'm pouring myself a cozy cuppa spice tea and watching a horror short film named Stay for Tea:
It's by Andrew Thompson and won Second Place in the Florida State University Midnight Short Horror Competition.
I can't wait to return to watch this, dear. No time now, but I'll be back once life returns to a bit of normalcy. I know it will be fun to watch, since you recommended it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday, and thanks for leaving such sweet comments even when I've been too busy to return the favor.
Well, "sharing" and "recommending" aren't quite the same thing ;) but it did win a prize. That must count for something. lol
DeleteI'd love to join you for tea but I'd probably have my hands over my eyes for most of the movie, hahaha.

I'm a latecomer to horror, but my older son likes them and introduced me. I'll have a separate cozy room available for the non horror fans ;)
Deletehaha toward the end there I thought I might have to tune out but I stuck with it (I am not a horror film kinda girl)
ReplyDeletethe way it was filmed was a bit of a horror for me actually as I get motion sick fairly easily LOL
It was suspenseful.
Your tea cup sure is pretty...I am a big fan of pottery.
Nice to be back for tea
Happy October!

I bought that cup from a vendor at our annual arts/crafts fair the local Pink Palace museum puts together. It's one of my favorites. Glad you like it :)
DeleteI'm with E...will be back to see this, as long as it's not too horrific. I am a big chicken! love your mug...enjoy your horror films! Maybe I will have to re-watch the Adams family this month....
ReplyDeleteI love the Addams Family... the old tv show and the movies, too. Have them all on DVD. I'll join you for your re-watch :)
DeleteBeautiful photo. Thanks for your visit. It's impossible to stop my nousaku. Whenever my blog is accessed, my bells chime.I am sorry.
ReplyDeleteThx :) And thx for answering my question about your chime. Autoplay sounds are just such a pet peeve of mine. *sigh* My problem, not yours :)
DeleteYour cup is amazing --- this film is not my cup of tea though it won a prize... it scares me a little!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day
I'm glad you like the cup. I bring it out for Fall every year. :) I don't care for slasher films or torture plots, but I don't mind some of the tamer stuff.
DeleteWith my imagination I can quite frighten-ly finish this story.....LOL Yes sharing and recommending are two different things!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the share
Happy T-day
I can recommend quite a few good horror films. Not sure this tea-related one would be one of them :/ Happy T Day!
DeleteLove that little cup. I love Halloween too and it was great to see all the houses decorated up in the States. I just wish we did more over here in the UK, where it all started. Time to get my Halloween quilt on the wall. Perhaps I will share it next week.

ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
I like the cute, funny parts, too. And the candy ;) Happy T Day!
DeleteI love your tea cup! I used to love horror movies but always had to plug my ears! Had to watch but couldn't take the music.
ReplyDeleteThx! Some of the music is a bit overpowering, isn't it!
DeleteHorror...no thank you...didn't even watch the video. I'm that much of a fraidy cat. Love that mug though!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy T day!
Can't blame you. I haven't watched horror long at all. lol. Happy T Tuesday!
DeleteI don't do anything scary if I can help it. I do like spice tea- no boo! there!
ReplyDeleteCan't say that I blame you. We can enjoy the spice tea and skip the scary part :)
DeleteHorror is one of my no go zones, but I'll have a cup of tea any day
ReplyDeleteI understand completely :) Happy No-Horror Tea Day!
