1000 Misspent Hours doesn't like Fairbanks' performance. There was a remake in 1940 starring Sabu (one of Roger Ebert's "great movies": "This 1940 movie is one of the great entertainments. It lifts up the heart.") and another in 1961 starring Steve Reeves. Hey! Don't laugh! I like Steve Reeves.
