    1. Hope springs eternal, but I doubt it.

    1. Today's session was only a little over an hour. This will be the last session.

  3. Ho hum, the only people watching or participating are people that already had their minds made up.

    1. "The only people not watching are people who have their minds made up" makes as much sense. And it's only "ho hum" if you don't care about the insurrection and trump's part in it.

    2. If they wanted people to take them seriously there should have been people on the panel that hadn't already decided that they wanted to (hang) Trump.

    3. You're kidding right? You do remember the process by which the committee was formed, I assume.

    4. The Dems refused Trump supporters on the panel, It's hard to railroad somebody if you allow opposition.

    5. Pelosi only vetoed Banks and Jordan, but accepted McCarthy's other nominees and asked for alternate recommendations for those 2 positions. Instead, McCarthy decided to pull all his recommendations and boycott proceedings.

    6. Yep Plosi was not going to accept anyone who had enough backbone to question the Dem's narrative. If this was such an open and shut case She would have taken McCarthy first suggestions

    7. lol! She turned down 2 of the 5, and he pulled out all of them without bothering to submit other options. It wasn't an open and shut case -that's what the committee was investigating- although I was watching as it happened in real time, and I couldn't believe trump's behavior before/during/after the coup attempt. Right now trump is claiming double jeopardy lol

Given what we know now, all the testimony we've heard and the video we've seen, do you still think trump did nothing wrong?

    8. Of course he did something, but I still don't think he caused what happened January 6th. People need to be responsible for their own actions. If we are going to go after every politician who uses inflammatory speech we are going to needing a lot of replacements.

    9. He's been peddling the "the only way I can lose is if they cheat" rant since before the 2016 election, for pity's sake. He's still on about it. He whipped those people up, knew they were armed, sent them to the capitol, and then sat there and watched. Others are being tried and convicted. He should also be held accountable.

  4. ...I just spoke to my friend Erv Tschanz about the small tree that he makes. Give he a call at 1-585-315-2430 to discuss having him make you one.

  5. That was such a disaster, Jan. 6th. I hope there is justice.

    1. There'll be no justice. I believe they are afraid of right-wing violence if they prosecute Trump.

  7. Since the DOJ is non-political, I am hoping Garland and gang will actually DO something constructive.

    1. I'm not hopeful. They fear further right-wing political violence.
