I'll have to check this out. Hasn't TV changed so much since we were kids? Of course the world has too. I wonderful what TV will be like in 10 years in the future. Hope it was a lovely holiday.
Oh goodness! The sound of the announcers and the band music...grew up with these old shows. Born that year. I vaguely remember many old shows...Burns & Allen, Milton Beryl, Amos & Andy, Jack Benny, My Little Margie, Playhouse 90...so many of them. Dancing cigarette packs, ladies hawking washers and refrigerators...so many memories. That was fun! Gracie was such a hoot! :)
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
Gracie was just the best
ReplyDeleteI don't remember her at all...
Delete...Burns and Allen, they were fabulous, thanks!
ReplyDeleteFun, weren't they.

ReplyDeleteNow there's less TV and more streaming. Who knows what it'll be like in 10 years!

ReplyDeleteI don't remember this show at all. I got a kick out of finding it. The cigarette ads were wild, weren't they!
DeleteI've never heard of this, but I hope to watch it if I ever catch up.
ReplyDeleteIt was new to me, too. A bit of fun silliness :)
