  6. That painting could be at my house. A black and white cat sitting by the dinner table looking up as we eat. I have seen that scene a thousand times since Lizzie came to live with us -- and she looks just like that cat!

  14. I'm sorry I'm late again in commenting. Tuesday is a day we usually are away from home and as Blogger doesn't like iPhones or iPads, I cannot do anything until I get back home to my desktop. Sometimes this is quite late, so here I am on Wednesday...
    I never realized they had Chinese restaurants in 1909. I is a lovely painting. I always learn something from your blogs. (I had never heard of this painter).
