ReplyDelete"dystopia packed with hope" I mean what's that?! lol
Delete...there a lot dystopian things going on these days.
ReplyDeleteYes. It's a tragedy :(

ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI haven't seen this one. I guess the hubby hasn't put it on yet.
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of it.
DeleteI'm interested to know about parenting. Seriously wired or seriously weird?
ReplyDeleteThe parenting part was difficult. The choices people make...
DeleteI had seen this one and it is disturbing. I didn't exactly think of it as a hopeful movie but in a strange way, I guess it is. Does not portend well for women, that's for sure. Power of mother's love...glimmers of hope there. Wanting to be forgiven in the family--yes. Just such a strange concept. Good movies make you ponder. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't see the hope in it. Not at all :(
DeleteHonestly, that was so not my memory of it (hopeful) that I watched it again and had to search for it--ROFL!
Deleteikr? I sometimes wanna ask the reviewers, "Did you see the same movie I did?" lol
DeleteThanks for the recommendation! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it.
DeleteYou don't see a lot of dystopian movies "packed with hope." very good reviews!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that review struck me when I saw it after I'd seen the movie. I'm still not seeing the hope, even looking for it.
