The Man Who Cheated Himself is a 1950 film noir starring Lee J. Cobb as the cop who has fallen in love with the wrong woman and Jane Wyatt as the femme fatale.
Jane Wyatt is a great actress. I need to check this out as once again, I don't know this film. Thanks for the link and the suggestion. Happy Friday. Hugs-Erika
So odd to see Mrs. Anderson as an evil femme fatale! She played it well. Liked seeing a truly honest cop who would turn in his own big brother on principle because it was right. If you know any old movies with politicians like that let me know. ;)
lol, yes, she could act good and evil both, couldn't she. Ah, sometimes you hafta have the good politicians to set up against the corruption, especially in those old movies. I can't think of examples right now, of course...
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
This one I want to watch. Thank you. Happy Friday. 😃😃😃
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it :)
DeleteJim Anderson's wife? Spock's mama as the Femme Fatale?
ReplyDeleteJane Wyatt had a long career and lived to 96. She got around lol
